Essays on the Efficiency of Higher Education

Higher education institutions play a crucial role in fostering economic development at local and global levels. In recent years, European higher education systems have undergone a long process of reform aimed at improving the performance of institutions and harmonizing European systems. In addition, the pandemic crisis has forced institutions to reorganize their main activities. The research project aims to assess the efficiency of higher education systems in response to the structural changes the sector has faced.
